The purpose of this site is to make known some places of China, especially Yunnan which is certainly the most interesting province as well from the point of view of the landscapes as of the exoticism and the pleasure of the discovery. It is the place where live the greatest number of more or less sinicized ethnic minorities, still carrying their traditional costume, having their own culture, language and religion. You 'll meet there Yi, Miaos, Naxi, Bai, Dai, Zhao, Hani, Jinuo, Tibetans, Bulang and others still, sometimes concentrated in one or two villages of mountain. Yunnan has a variety of landscapes, climates and of extraordinary, frontier vegetation of Tibet in western north with tops with more 6000m, plates and tropical valleys in the south where pineapples, mangos and bananas push. All the areas are different that it is Xishuangbanna, Honghe, Wenshan, Dehong, Shangrila or the areas of Kunming or the east. Yunnan it is also a voyage in time, certain villages of mountain still living as in Europe at the XIXème century. I propose some photographs of Guilin, major tourist stage, which makes regret not having known it fifty years ago. But travelling in China without seeing Peking or Xi' an, it can be only one unfinished voyage. The Large Wall and the army of the 10000 terra cotta warriors are rare wonders and you have to see it absolutely... And now you may visit Tibet and Lhasa!
